Crusader Oceanfront Resort and Restaurant

This is the fourth time my husband and I have stayed here. I haven’t even bothered checking out other places because we feel so at home here. The owner is on site and everyone that works there are very helpful and conscientious. The whole place is extremely clean and well managed. And I must say the beds are so comfortable! I actually get a better nights sleep here than at home at times. lol I’m sure we’ll be returning next year for our fifth season.

We’ve been coming to the Crusader for four years in a row, and it’s become a family tradition! We always stay in the same room, which has a beautiful balcony view of the ocean — perfect for enjoying morning coffee or winding down in the evening. The location couldn’t be better, right across the street from the beach, and just a short walk to the start of the boardwalk with plenty of things to do nearby. After a day at the beach, the pool is a great spot to relax and cool off. The rooms are always very clean, and the staff is consistently friendly and welcoming, which makes the whole experience even better. We truly look forward to our stay here every year and highly recommend the Crusader to anyone looking for a wonderful Wildwood getaway.

Crusader is located in Wildwood Crest. The rooms were very clean ans functional. I had a beautiful partial view of the beach/sunrise. The poll area was clean and functional. Checking in was a little lengthy as the person working the front desk was on a break and the telephone number provided sent you to VM. Rooms were functional and as I mwntioned before, very clean. The front room had a table with 4 to 6 seats, couches, kitchenette was very functional, bathroom was clean and equipped with a hair dryer and all the amenities you need (soap, lotion, shampoo, hair conditioner, body wash). I am lowering the star rating for a few reasons: ceiling paint was coming off right above the entrance, the blinds did not really prodive privacy as they were broken, there was no iron in the room. I would recommend this motel and I would consider staying there again.

Just stayed there with my boyfriend, and my 10 month old. place was very clean, staff was friendly from the minute we walked in to the minute we left- front desk guy even let us do laundry an hour past closing hours he was very flexible and accommodating. my baby also enjoyed the baby pool they offered which not many hotels do! good location right near the beach! i don’t have a bad thing to say about this place!

The staff went over-and-above to serve my family in a difficult time. I am impressed and deeply grateful for the Crusader Staff! My extended family had booked several rooms for Labor Day weekend, which we had to cancel the week of do to a sudden death in the family. While it is stated in their policy that we would lose our deposits, they worked to refill our rooms and provided all four of our family groups with full refunds. They were communicative and kind throughout the process. Will book with them for our family reunion trip next year!

We found this resort to be exceptional in every way. We stayed in a suite with bedroom, living room and kitchenette, all which were a good size, clean and inviting, and containing everything that might possibly be needed. I was especially impressed with the stainless steel pots and pans and what looked like a brand new non-stick frying pan. Living room couches were sturdy and very comfortable, one being a pull- out bed. There was a very nice table/writing desk next to the window providing a good view. Staff were very friendly and went out of their way to be helpful and make sure you had everything you needed, even sending us a text the morning after we arrived welcoming us to the hotel and letting us know they were there to assist in any way. The building has an elevator, parking garage, and coffee shop. There is also a. sauna and a heated pool with lounge chairs, adjacent to which is an expansive sun deck with lounge chairs facing the ocean, as well as a ping pong table and shuffleboard. Location is great for everything -- a few minute walk out to water's edge via several beautiful piers or wooden walkways, one of which has a picnic area near its beginning and at it's end a seating area right out over the beach. A short distance via the cement walking/biking promenade takes you up to the boardwalk with shops and amusements. We found the price of the hotel to be reasonable, comparatively. All in all, we were very impressed and plan to return next year with our extended family.

This was our fourth year staying at the Crusader Oceanfront Resort and once again we were not disappointed. The friendly and helpful staff, the beautiful rooms, the amazing views, the Crusader restaurant, the incredible swimming pool and sun deck, and the proximity to the beach, ocean , and boardwalk all make for a wonderful family vacation filled with happy memories. We highly recommend staying at The Crusader when vacationing in Wildwood Crest, you will not be disappointed. You also can't beat the policy of reserving your room for the next year for $100. We are already looking foward to staying in our beautiful suite next year.

First time staying here, we were welcomed by very kind people at the front desk. Our room was very clean with very nice furniture in it. Air conditioning was nice and cold. The pool was very warm, and my kids loved that it was 11 feet deep. Great location to pretty much anything you’d want to do. Would definitely come back here
